The Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration oversees the following areas:

Administration and Public Safety (APS)
Administration and Public Safety is responsible for responding to all emergencies, suspicious activities, crimes, safety concerns, and parking and transportation challenges.  The departments also provides centralized waste management, surplus collection and material storage, access to Rutgers own 4 1/2 star 18-hole golf course, bookstore retail services, mail delivery, and document creation and printing services.  The departments that fall under this Division include Business & Administrative Services, Construction Code, Emergency Mangement, Emergency Services, Golf Course, Mail & Document Services, REHS, Rutgers Police, Security Technologies, Surplus & Managment Storage, Transportation Services, and the University Bookstore.

University Facilities
Unviersity Facilities encompasses the following areas: Facilities Business Administration
Facilities Operations and Services, Facilities Project Administration, the Office of University Planning and Development; and the Real Estate office.

Internal Audit Department
The Internal Audit Department provides a wide array of services to the university community including audits, internal control briefings, and system assessments.

Office of Information Technology (OIT)

OIT works closely with faculty, senior administrators, the university's key stakeholders and users of computer technology in developing policies, standards, processes, and procedures.  Areas of responsibility include campus computing, administrative computing, information protection and security, telecommunications, instructional and research technology and IT planning and operations.

Office of the University Controller
The Office of the University Controller encompasses Grant and Contract Accounting (post-award grant and contract financial compliance support); Payroll Services; Student Accounting Services (cashiering; student accounts for tuition and fees; and student billing and collections); the Tax Department; and University Accounting (budget management; disbursement control and accounts payable; plant funds and property management; and restricted and unrestricted funds).

Risk Management and Insurance
The Department of Risk Management and Insurance is responsible for the Risk Management operation is responsible for assessing and managing risk at the university; administering insurance and self-insurance programs and claims against and for the university; and reviewing contracts and agreements for risk, liability, and insurance coverage requirements. 

Treasury Operations
The Office of Treasury Operations is responsible for investment management, debt management and cash management for the University.

University Human Resources
University Human Resources consists of the following departments:  the Center for Organizational Development and Leadership; Faculty and Staff Assistance Program; Office of Labor Relations; Office of Employment Equity; and Sexual Assault Services and Crime Victim Assistance.
