Thanks to a Purchasing Department initiative in “green” purchasing , we are pleased to announce the availability of recycled copy paper at prices comparable to the cost of nonrecycled copy paper. This paper, with a 30 percent recycled content, is environmentally friendly, costs from 50 cents to $1 less per carton than nonrecycled paper, and performs just as well. Green purchasing uses the purchasing power of the university to obtain environmentally preferable products at favorable prices.
Recycled paper is now available for delivery directly to your office through Material Services. You can place an Internal Purchase Order (IPO) online through Rutgers Integrated Administrative System (RIAS) by selecting Material Services from the internal supplier listing.
