New Information Technology Project Governance Committee Formed
Karen Kavanagh, executive vice president for administrative affairs, and Philip Furmanski, executive vice president for academic affairs, have formed a new IT governance team, the Information Technology Project Governance Committee (ITPGC.) This committee will consist of academic and administrative leaders who will work closely with Rutgers University Computing Services (RUCS). The team will be charged to develop an IT strategy for the university and to establish priorities for allocating central administrative computing resources pertaining to both academic and administrative activities. Sandy Russell, interim associate vice president for human resources, and Marie Logue, associate dean student life and academic policy at Rutgers College, will serve as committee co-chairs.
